Friday Recap And Other Goodies

Big thanks to everyone who made it out to the Earl on Friday night. It was a lovely evening of music from start to finish. Ponderosa got things kicked off with a spot on performance of their southern brewed rock'n'roll, and Tentonic ended the show with a quality set of their brit inspired tunes.

It was definitely our most enjoyable and satisfying set to date, and the reception from the crowd during and after the show took everyone by surprise, so thanks once again.

Here's some other tidbits of info to keep your interest perked for the moment:

-Our web guru, John, and his lovely assistant taped our set and will be putting together some footage for us to post at a date to be determined.

-As some of you may have noticed, we ended up streaming Friday's set live. We're investigating our options with doing more live casts of shows, etc. Any future casts will be announced ahead of time here and through our mailing list

-Speaking of which... anyone interested in joining our mailing list, please email us at theredcoatsband@gmail.com. Put "mailing list" in the subject and leave your name and email of choice.

-Stay tuned for info on our possible involvement with the latest installment of 500 Songs For Kids, and other upcoming shows

-Check out our myspace page for our current 3 song demo. These were produced by Jake Sinclair from The Films and engineered by Ryan McDougall. Free CDs of said recordings are available at any local shows that happen to include the Redcoats.

Until then...keep checking in and tell your friends!
